Yes. Zaelar orchestrates external services: the agents available on the MeshKore network, external MCP servers and external APIs, which reach booking services and thousands of other services — travel, events, shopping, places and more. Their answers come back in the conversation, no browser needed, and are checked like any other source. It never pays an agent on its own, and it never books, buys or pays for you: it shows you the options and asks. Coming next: your agent and another person's agent finding a time together.

Yes. Everything on the canvas is an app — use the built-in ones, ask for a change and get your own fork of one, or describe a new one and your agent writes it. Nothing is built or rewritten without your yes. An app is a plain folder, so you can share it: on a self-hosted install, drop someone's app folder in and your agent picks it up and drives it by voice.

The software is fair-code: free to self-host for personal or internal use, forever, with the full source public. What the license doesn't allow is reselling it or offering it as a commercial service. Zaelar Cloud — the fully managed version — starts at €9.99/month.

Convenience, not hosting. The €9.99/month base covers your own cloud machine, storage and automatic updates, and every paid month adds Energy to your balance. The AI compute your agent uses is paid separately as Energy — because you're really paying for the external AI, not for Zaelar.

Recharges for the AI compute your agent consumes. Your account comes with Energy included; when you need more, you buy a capsule (€10, €50, €100, €200 or €500) from your account, and capsules never expire. If you reach zero, paid operations pause and your agent tells you — never a surprise bill.

Yes. Zaelar's source is public — clone it, bring your own AI keys, and run it anywhere for your own use. You'll handle setup, updates, backups and uptime yourself.

On Zaelar Cloud, your agent runs on its own isolated machine with its own storage — not shared with other users.
