The source is public.
The engine is fair-code, under the Sustainable Use License 1.0: the full source is public, and you can read it, run it and extend it for your own personal or internal use. What the license doesn't allow is reselling it or offering it as a commercial service.
Self-host
Clone it, run it, own it.
Your own machine, your own AI keys, no subscription. You need Python 3.11 or newer — no Docker. Clone it, start it, then open http://localhost:43917 in your browser and add your AI keys in the app. It serves plain HTTP on localhost by design, and runs one engine per machine.
